Unsolicited commercial software

..is DOXdesk’s name for the annoying breed of software that gets on your computer without you asking for it, there to make money for someone else. We call them ‘parasites’ for short.

Replacing the move finder items Automator action in essence so it keeps going or is it going to be easier and faster through Applescript to do everything. I just like the option to make the Automation an app or folder action. This is why Im aiming towards an Applescript/Automator hybrid on this one. Applescript is designed to work with applications, so its direct corollary is VBA, Visual Basic for Applications. There is not a converter available that converts VBA to Applescript either (APS is not a proper abbreviation, btw, if the context is clear, it is convention to use AS), however, there are some web resources that you will find. This encompasses many kinds of spyware, adware, browser hijackers, diallers and other assorted unwelcome guests. (Definitions of these terms..)

Parasites have been around since around 1999 and have gone from an obscure issue of interest to computer security professionals to the single most common threat affecting internet users.

If your computer has recently started showing constant adverts or changing your home page and search engines; if new toolbars, bookmarks and icons have been unexpectedly appearing; or if the desktop has become unusuably slow or error-prone, it is possible you could have unsolicited commercial software installed. (How it could have happened, and how to prevent it happening again..)

DOXdesk provides a JavaScript program that can run from a web page and detect some kinds of parasite; you can see its results at the top of this page. (Putting the script on your own web pages..)

If the script found anything, it’ll give you links to more information, including manual removal instructions. (Database of all parasite information..)

There are also programs available that can (in many cases) remove the parasites automatically; they can also detect many more types of threat that the script here cannot (for tedious technical reasons). (Recommended anti-parasite software..)

Unfortunately, with the recent explosion of publicity and awareness of spyware, there are also a great many companies trying to cash in with incompetent, misleading or even deliberately harmful ‘spyware removal’ software.

Whilst there are many sites trying to mislead people into buying questionable anti-parasite software, there are also many good resources for information and discussion of parasites, spyware and related issues. (Other useful sites..)

Finally, miscellaneous information about this site: (Disclaimers, corrections, contact details, copyright, licensing..)

It's almost too easy to praise Parasite in City! From the astounding pixel-art to the refined 'survival-action' gameplay this game sets a new standard in 2D H-games.We could spend hours talking of how sexy is the main heroine, her movements, her defenseless poses. Or praising the level of detail of the scenery (Chapter Two above all).

Or admitting that rarely a in-game sprite rape has been so arousing (and relevant to gameplay, since just 'letting it go' does not damage the heroine BUT can compromise her survival later). We could point out the defects, and it will be clear that none of them can lower the value of this game. Maybe a little lag or imperfection in the controls that can be frustrating in the third chapter of the game, in which timing is everything. Quality makes up for quantity in the variety of enemies department. Every 'knocked down' r.pe scene has a 'climax', but there is no 'in game' game over r.pe scene. But, in the end, you really have to play and replay again this amazing game to find defects.I did, I know what I'm saying. You take the role of the blonde protagonist, who tries to escape from the infection that seems to be causing the zombie epidemic.

You run through levels shooting the zombies, but sometimes it's better to use melee attack instead to preserve ammunition. There are also moments where you need to act quickly, and be precise with your shots. If someone happens to grapple you you're rewarded with a well done sprite sex, and if you happen to lose you get to see game over animation.

Overall I found the challenge very interesting, since it had some situations where a little bit of reaction time didn't hurt. I await to see what more this circle will be able to bring in the future, the sprite quality is top notch and the gameplay was very good. First of all, the H elements in this game are quite satisfying, especially the pixel art. And, considering this is Pixel Factory's first offering that's pretty promising. The gameplay is mostly very tight and the heroine's actions feel right. A lot of the mechanics make sense, such as the slightly longer than expected re-fire time on the pistol (while the heroine is shown to be competent, she presumably has little-no training with weapons and it could be implied that the re-fire time is due to this). While the controls are good, the game becomes increasingly punishing the further you get into it. The lack of checkpoints (you will always restart from the beginning of the stage you are on) may appeal to hardcore gamers with certain tastes, but not all.As a side note, make sure to choose 'No' if you game-over to a new enemy type as this will unlock an animation for the gallery that will not be unlocked if you choose to continue.Overall, this is a fun game with some great art and it's well worth the asking price. Have you ever read a H Resid.nt Evil doujin and wondered if you ever play one of such antics?

Well here it is. Parasite in the City is the H version of resid.nt evil or you may say a Zombie apocalyptic themed H-game.This is a story of a girl with unknown background (To my knowledge) who witnessed society break down amidst a zombie horde rampaging the city.
